We had a Monster Truck party for Kaden's 4th birthday. I forgot to take pictures until it was time to open gifts. We did a pin the wheels on the monster truck game and had a pinata and I made chocolate cupcakes with green and purple frosting for the Grave Digger colors.
This is a reminder to keep your important files backed up such as pictures, music, documents etc. Hard drives are fairly cheap for a good size and will be worth the investment to get one. Over time hard drives will fail, so you need a plan in place to keep from losing very important data. One of our drives started having issues in our server and I did not think too much about it until yesterday. It stopped showing up in windows and I could no longer gain access to the drive. This drive had our music, pictures, programs, personal files and phone apps / games. I had luckily made a backup of our personal files and pictures back in March, so any pictures since then are now gone forever. I am very happy that I at least made the backup back in March, but should have kept up to date on the backup so we didnt have to lose as much. None of my music was backed up so it is now all gone.
I do not want this same thing to happen to anyone else especially if you do not have ANY backups at all. If you can pull together an extra $100 or so to get a backup drive and possibly some blank dvd's then please do so ASAP and ask me if you need help backing up your information. Its a good idea to backup your information on a seperate drive, but also make some dvd backups.
I used to upload my camera on my laptop. It was having issues so Ty transfered everything over to his computer. Not long after, the pictures all disappeared from my lap top. Now I put all my pictures on his computer and a hard drive.
