Sackboy

If you've played Little Big Planet you'll know who this guy is. Sackboy. Jared and I just recently finished beating Little Big Planet 1 and 2, staying up till 2 am most nights that we played, such a fun game.

I saw a knitting pattern for sackboy and knew Jared would love it, so I made one for him for Valentine's Day. I kind of improvised on some parts but I think he turned out pretty well. Kaden watched us play the game and knew who the guy was when I finished putting him together, and he loves playing with him.

Knitted Headbands

I made a couple of these for Kairi so her ears kept warm when she plays outside and not have her hair messed up from wearing a hat. She's never kept headbands on for long periods of time, but she loves wearing these.

For the next two weeks I'll be selling them for just $5 each with a limit of 2. The white one is made with baby soft yarn and the pink is regular yarn and outlined with light pink. Flowers are purchased separately.

Roar I'm a Dinosaur

Finished this one last night and I love it. So cute on Kaden and he loves wearing it. Kairi loves it too and says "Roar" when she's wearing it. There are two spots on each side. It could easily be a Dragon hat too, maybe have orange with brown spikes, or even bright green or purple with pink spikes, or just grey and black. So many possibilites.

Website Makeover

I have re-done the internal code of the site so it runs on templates and makes the themes much better for the site. Allie spent some time to start on a new set of themes. Right now we just have the Feb. theme created and it looks great, but the other months will be in the works and will switch over when the month is over. If we get some time, we will do holiday specific themes as well as month themes. Maybe we will create a birthday theme to display when there is a bday. The best part of it is, the themes switch over automatically, we just have to create them and put them in place.

If you happen to notice any broken pages or colors that are not right, please let us know since the code changes were pretty major. It seems everything is working fine but there may be something I have missed.
